Mouse Right Click and Default Action - From test server to live
Hi,
I recently went on the test server and opened the Terraform UI.

My character immediately started to dig down, without me even pressing the Dig Down ability on the terra tool.

It took me a few minutes to realise what was happening. I believe that on the test server you have implenmented
some kind of new default action associated with the Right Mouse button click.

The problem is the Right mouse button is used to pan the camera as well, so everytime i panned the camera
but I was also digging down. No biggie, its on the test server and its a probably a WIP.

I went back to the live server and found that somehow the test server settings have stuck and now
im getting the same thing on the live server.

For example I had the Farm tool open and could plant seeds without even clicking on the seed
just right clicking on the ploughed ground.

It works but the right mouse button is still used to pan the camera.

So now im panning the camera and planting seeds at the same time.

Ive also noticed that when i use both mouse buttons to move my character (i do that sometimes when im to lazy to use WASD)
that my open back pack also slowly moves across the screen without me even touching it.

I can find do mention of this Right click being modified to perform the default action of an open ability UI in the patch notes.

(or my client of Xyson is totally bugged that is if its not a test server WIP)

Please can you restore it so my live server settings are not doing this - thanks

Xsyon Guide
There was no change to the UI or interaction. We will investigate this though as of yet you are the only one to report it. If anyone else has this issue, please report.

I can't reproduce this type of problem at all, and there is nothing in progress on the Test Server related to default right click actions.

Please first try this: Delete all files from the Xsyon/Save directory. This will put all settings and interface options back to the default. Does this clear up your problem?

Next try deleting these files and re-patching through the launcher:
Source.xsip in Xsyon/Data
Interface.xsip in Xsyon/Data
Xsyon.exe in Xsyon/Bin
Xsyon.pdb in Xsyon/Bin

Corrupted data files have caused unusual issues like this in the past on rare occasions.

If neither of those steps resolve your problem, please provide the following information:

1) When you open the terraform panel now, do you always automatically dig down?

2) If yes, how are you opening the panel? From the actions menu? From a shortcut on your action bar? From pressing a key on your action bar?

3) Can you currently reproduce planting seeds by clicking on the ground and not on the seeds?

4) If yes, is the pack panel containing the seeds open?

5) If yes, are you clicking somewhere randomly on the screen and you get the same menu you would get by clicking the seed? Or are you clicking in a specific location?

Hi,

The problem for now seems to have gone, Pean already advised me to delete files in the xyson folder, so the launcher could re-download them.
I deleted and re-downladed the following.

xsyon.exe
xsyontext.exe
interface.xsip
source.xsip
meshes.xsip

and also
Control_Sark.sav
Options.sav

It occured under these conditions.
Having open an ability UI such as Terraform or Farm open
then Right Clicking directly on the game word (ie not an object)

With Terraform UI open the dig down action would be executed
With Farm UI open the Plant seed option would appear on the screen.

This would happen each time i Right clicked on the game world (with farm you had to Right click on ploughed ground)

The moving backpack would happen when I pressed both mouse buttons together so my character moved forward
then keeping the buttons pressed and moving the mouse to turn my character would also cause the open back pack
to move across the screen.

Its obviously corrupted files then as you have said you have not even implemented it on the test server.

It seems to have gone so one of the files i re-downloaded was the culprit.

Ok. Corrupted files can cause very random issues. That seems to be the case here, so I'll close this one out.
