Gadu Truss 8x8 giving indoors buff with no covering

October 16 2017,

Ok here is an interesting little bug this involves the Gadu Truss 8x8
at my area I have setup a Gadu Truss 8x8 and when I walk under it I notice
up in the top right hand corner of the screen that I am getting the "indoors"
buff. Which says "you are protected from the elements" what is funny is that
there is no roof or no floor covering over top of it to protect me it is just the
Gadu Truss 8x8 I have not put any kind of stone or wood floor over it at all
but yet I am getting the indoors buff which protects me from the elements
but there is really nothing protecting me. There is NO roof on this building in
any way and the structure is incomplete yet I am still getting the "indoors"
buff.

I believe that this is a bug with the Gadu Truss 8x8 I would also check the
other Trusses as well to see if they are doing the same.

The only time I get the "indoors buff" is when I am standing under the Gadu Truss 8x8
if I walk out from underneath of it the buff goes away so it is definitely the
Gadu Truss 8x8 that is giving me the buff.

But really shouldn't there be a need to have either a wood or stone floor or a roof
or something actually covering you before you get this buff instead of just the
Gadu Truss 8x8 which is just the frame structure. That would make more sense
because really the Gadu Truss 8x8 is not doing anything to protect you from the
elements as you can see in my screenshot which I will attach.

I think it would make a lot more sense to have the floor or roof pieces give
the "indoor" status instead of the actual Gadu Truss 8x8 which is just the
mere structure once you put the floor pieces or the roof pieces on then
you would get the "indoor" buff but not before then. It would kind of
make more sense that way and would be a lot more logical.

It is like building a new garage and putting up all the walls and windows and
everything in it but not putting the roof on and still expecting it to be protected
from the rain. The way it is now kind of baffles me.

I do believe that this is a bug with the truss can some one please look into this
issue.

Thank you,

Now here is a screenshot of me when I move out from under the Gandu Truss 8x8 you can see
that the buff goes away.

All 4x4 and 8x8 trusses do that and have been since this building system was created, iirc they used the 4x4 and 8x8 roofs as templates which is why you get that effect, it's also why corner trusses and cantilevers don't get that effect, as they were done from scratch and didn't get that effect added to them.

Bejaymac is correct and the 16x16 will be added to the buff list when time is free to do so.

Yes but the truss it self should not be giving you a indoors status if anything it
should be the FLOOR which goes on the truss which should give you the
indoor status. Because right now the way things are you can have just a truss up
with nothing over top and actually get the indoor status, which makes no sense
what so ever.

The system was set up as Bejaymac said above. It was set up this way for simplicity. Eventually I will make changes to this to take into account floors etc. but it's currently not worth the changes to the system.
