Allies windows not showing tribes you are allied with
November 11 2017,

Ok I think I found another bug. I have allied two guilds together the main guild
is called "The Crafters" the 2nd guild is "EngineeringCorp"

Now I logged on both of my characters that are leaders for the two guilds
and I right clicked on the other leader with my one character and said ally with
the other guild.

It told me that the alliance was successful but when you go into the
Social window (O) and click on the allies tab it is blank on both tribes.

I looked at both guild leaders allies window and they both are just empty
and it doesn't actually show the alliance.

This is what I see with both guild leaders for their alliance windows
it is just empty for both characters.

So i went back and I tried it again and I right clicked on the other guild
leader and now I don't have the option to ally with the other guild
so I am assuming that we are allied but it just isn't showing up
in the ally window.


Can some one please take a look into this?

Did it every show that you are allied with the other tribe or is it still not showing ?

It looks like you already removed the 'EngineeringCorp' tribe, correct? I don't see it (or the alliance) in the database, so I'm unable to check this.

We tested with other tribes and it worked correctly (as it should). If you can reproduce this, let me know and please leave the tribes and alliance intact until I can check it.

No it never showed .. and I recreated the tribe again with my character for Engineering Corps and tries to ally them
and it still isn't showing. Any ideas?

I recreated the tribe.. My guy is in his own tribe.

Here is a screenshot showing that my guy is in a tribe.

But when either of my characters right clicks on each other though
I no longer have the option to Ally with each other.

So I am assuming that they are already allied and it is not showing up
in the Allied window.

I will leave the alliance alone for now until you can check into it.

What are the names of the two tribes you currently have allied? I copied the data again to check it out and don't see any alliances to 'The Crafters' tribe.

The name of the two tries are "The Crafters" and "Engineer Corps" those are the names of the two
tribes.

The leader for "The Crafters" is Justmee and the leader for "EngineerCorps" is a player called
EngineerCorps

If you are not seeing alliance for the two then that is a real problem because that means it never got
put into the database then and it is some how missing but in the actual game itself
it thinks that I am allied right now because I don't have the option to ally the two guilds
any more.

If they were not in an alliance then when I right click on one of the two leaders
I should get an option to become allies with the other tribe and I do not get that
option any more.

So something is definitely wrong here.

Sorry the 2nd guild is EngineeringCorps not EngineerCorps.

It was very nice meeting you today Xsyon in game today. I am glad that we got this figured out.

So my 2nd player (EngineeCorps) has a tribe called EngeeringCorps he still has a tribe
but does not have a totem down.

From what Xyson told me is that you have to have a totem down on both tribes
in order for the Allies function to work properly.

So by the 2nd guild not having a totem down the allies function was
not working properly.


What I do with this character is he is a bridge builder so this guy
EngineerCorps does is goes around from place to place and builds
bridges across water to make it easier to get around so he currently
does not have a totem down.

This guy drops a totem where ever the bridge needs to be built
and then I pick up the totem afterwards. That is why he does not
have a totem down currently.

I thought that since you still have a tribe in name only that you could
still ally with another tribe but I guess that is not the case.

Xsyon said that he is going to fix this and by locking out the allies
function to guilds that do not have a totem which is currently down.

I really appreciate all your help Xsyon and you are doing a great job
on the game!
