Ok, there we go, but this time was a freeze, i never got before.... not a exe crash i think, had to push the reset button on my PC.

Caduryn, are you by chance using 24kbit sound? Just asking as when I had that enabled, I've had many games that would crash or otherwise show some of the symptoms you are seeing. If you are, change it to 16bit and reboot, then see if you continue to have problems. Just a suggestion on something to try anyway. =)

The "client_2011-01-12 00-23-40.zip" is from a fresh exe crash

To change from 24 bit to 16bit go to control panel /sound then chose your sound device and open properties,go to advanced options and there you should have some options so chose 16 bit and apply.

I hope it helps :)

Not really, i dont think you can change that under WinXP, and i didnt find anything on Google.
And since its a cheap onboard chip i think it is already 16bit.

and i played really many many Games, MMOs and Singleplayer, never got the problem like in Xsyon.

try to look through the web your soundcard settings, maybe you find a way to change the bit rate,if not look at this ,it may help.

i dont think its thatc rashing it i think its certain gfx settings and i think theres a mem leak some where after you travel around a bit. notice how many zones he crossed youa lwasy crasha fter that many unless oyu have low settings on the higher the settings the faster i always crash

I think too it hase something to do with gfx, and nothing with my sound.
If i use high Textures and shadows on i got way more crashes it seems.

Ok,
after checking dxdiag and sound, i can 100% say my PC only use 8bit-16bit Sound, Sound is NOT the problem!

Driver updates? (all chipsets , VGA )

Check temp about components maybe your across zone or loading create massive "stress"

I dont cross Zones very often, and it happens too if i just stand still inside tribe.
Graphic card temp is 70°C max wile playing, normal for a Nvidia.

Drivers all up to date.

My drivers are also up to date, and cooling is definitely not a problem.

Caduryn states Nvidia, Im using ATI HD5770 1gig DDR5, and I have all setting maxed, so perhaps it is something to do with those gfx settings.
