Sorting Cloth/Timber/Leather/Fur etc - A suggestion to make it easier
Automatic sorting of stacked items
I would like to make the following suggestion/improvement to the mechanism of identifying items for the purpose of sorting "like" items into baskets/containers.
Currently there are many cloth/wood/leather icons for items that look very similar. At the moment the approach I use to sort items once I have collected them is as follows
1. I have the basket/container open on my back full of collected material and I have the basket open where I wish to store the collected material in preparation of sorting the items into like stacks.
2. I hover over the icon of the item in my open container on my back to ascertain what the item is, click on it and then move my cursor to the container where I wish to store and stack the item to ensure it is the same item.
With the many "look a like icon" items of cloth/timber/leather/fur etc this whole process is very tedious to say the least.
I would like to propose the following:
You currently have the mechanism when collecting resources to right click and press "sort" and the items are automatically sorted into our container on our back. Why not extend this feature to have a "sort" feature on all basket/containers so we can right click the basket (select a sort option) and it will automatically sort whatever items are currently in that basket/container into like piles within the basket? (this should work with containers/baskets either on your back or on the ground). This would help significantly in doing away with such a tedious manual task of having to identify each and every item that has to be moved/sorted to the basket for storage.
Appreciate your feedback on this one
