I can confirm this happens on my windows 10 machine when using the steam client. i can't confirm just yet with the non steam client. ill test that when i get home.

If i recall correctly this is actually a old bug from 2011

Is this happening on the War Server or Peace Server? The timer is different for each server.

That will help me figure this out. It sounds like a floating point math error (which can depend on your CPU and operating system).

Happens on war server only.

When I play on my Win10 setup, it doesn't happen, it happens on my Win7 system.

Correction its just the war server as peace does not have the loot corpse option
on peace on death you instantly get the Rez Box

Immediately when you die?

Or does the bar count down and then go into this broken state?

Does this happen occasionally, or every time?

This is also an old bug that I've reported before.

A restart fixes it, but it could come back. Normally I've seen it after playing for a while or traveling the map a lot.

Right, it was confirmed fixed in the past. Maybe it resurfaced when I changed the death code for infirmaries.

On war only yes, because Peace doesn't get the rez bar. I should have also mentioned that I play thru the launcher, never use the steam client.

It happens as soon as you die, and for me, it's every time. (on my main computer). I don't see a 'normal' bar at all.

This new issue does not get fixed with a restart either, like the old one did. It's the way my screen always looks on death, every time.

Happens to me on War, original client, every death, Windows 10 and think it happened on Win 7.

I've cleaned up the timer bars to remove some obsolete code. I don't know if it was causing this issue or not, but I'd like to know if any (or all) of you can reproduce this problem on the current Test Server build.

If you can, please let me know how you died to reproduce this (fall? killed by a player? killed by a creature?)

Logged onto Test server and did some dying. Played with some bears and coyotes, ran myself headfirst off a cliff a couple times, ran until everything turned green.....all deaths resulted in a nice green rez bar that looked and counted down as it should. I didn't get the problematic bar at all on any of the deaths.

I've patched the current build to the Main Servers.

Please confirm that it's ok now (or if any of you still get this issue let me know). Thanks!

I too am still getting the distorted rez bar on War (didn't get it on test when I tried).

I play in windowed mode, my resolution matches my native resolution...1600x900

Still getting misplaced bar on Test. Also on selecting Home to revive, crash with:
Error: Sound not found: step_20_0

Another new build is ready on the Test Server.
