After you have discovered certain place you get the ability to fast travel, for a price. Either all your energy, food and water. or money or something.

I would suggest not a "fast travel" option, but more of an "autopilot function". After two cities are connected by a paved road of sufficient size, your character can "auto-run" along the course of the road between the two cities. It allows a certain simplicity and ease for travel but does not decrease the burden of travel.

i voted no. i dont like the idea of fast travel, it reminds me of beaming to much, star trek wise. i think it would not fit the setting.

Sry my vote is no, because this is a survival mmo.
Be happy that you get back to your tribe if you die, in other mmo's you have to walk all the way back as a ghost like in Mortal Online.

i dont agree with this suggestion. do not fit to the genre. we've got action skills which helps on travling. fortitude increase energy pool, strengst increase max weight -> less energy consumption, agility increase movement speed. work on your charackter and you will go to any place really quick.

we already have the deathport without loosing items which is kind of overpowered and abusable.

I also had to vote no, as I feel it would totally run counter to the world's "feel".

A system of waypoints along an established, paved route, as suggested by Tallios above would be a neat addition, however. Someone else has played Haven and Hearth, I am guessing, hehe.

I live out in the extreme where it is nearly impossible to get and nearly impossible to get out once established there. I did this for a reason and instant travel would make this all pointless for me. Sorry, another vote for no.

I have played in moment and a new player have things what i wanted buy from other tribe.
but.... many many player wanted not travel many hours to other zones to buy little things from other tribes
i have heard it so many times...they are saying ...hmmm ..no its to long way to buy things from other tribes!

an Idea and one thing to bring dollar outside from the game and make it interesting for PVE and PVP Server!
the only NPC POSTMAN.

Each tribe can build for a amount of Dollar an existing Model "Revenant" which each tribe can spawn.

this STRONG REVENANT MODEL with a CART have if they are spawned have a WINDOW with RIGHT CLICK and:

-Player can put selling things in the cart of the Revenant Postman with a mobile TRADE TOTEM of things
-Player can put in this GOAL WINDOW then the ZONE and exact COORDINATES and in the HOME WINDOW to travel back to ZONE:.. COORDINATE.../...(home tribe or other point)
-after this the REVENANT POSTMAN is walking straight to this COORDINATES and if he reached this COORDINATES he is stopping!
-Now other tribes can sell from this mobile REVENANT POSTMAN the things from the mobile TRADETOTEM and the money is in the REVENANT POSTMANS Inventory
-if the cart is empty or after 2 days he is walking back to the HOME WINDOWS coordinates

What brings this?

- the player have a alternative and the trading is active with tribes in wide wide away zones
- Player who wanted not travel so many times/hours can make for a amount of Dollar a risky STRONG REVENANT POSTMAN and he is making the work for him
(But this is danger!..many thieves and a goals for other player to search those REVENANT POSTMANS on PVE Server and PVP server)
and its a living Point of interest
- Player can walk with this POSTMAN REVENANTS and save him
- its an BOSS Point of interest and player searching him

Although it would make more sense to just have the Postman named "Tribe Name" Postman/ Strong Postman.

Having a postman like this or anything would be an issue for me.

It would need to have high cost and be unsafe (not guaranteed).
Xsyon has regional resources for a reason.

The idea for a "postman" is a redundant thing. This is where a person could be a trader by transporting packages from one tribe to another, and earning a few odd dollars. What would be nice is if the chief could establish a level of goods. For this I would actually ask that people could open up private trade tent inside of a certain range of the trading totem. That way people can order what they would like, it accumulates into a tribal order. Which then might cause people to be a little more interested in trading proper.

Another idea to help players trade more but make it easier for programers and less problematic would be to just let players place a purchase at their own tribe's trade totem and then must wait for the item to arrive depending upon the distance between the 2 tribes. That way no one has to travel, chances of items getting lost are minimized, but doesn't make the purchase instant either which seems what the objective here is.

trade totems are supposed to let ppl go to other places and meet other player. i think this was xsyons intention, as he always said he wants to bring ppl together by trading. not sure if he wuld implement anything like delivery by KI or buy stuff over far. just make a suggestion to get his feedback about it.

The major point is to get people to move around the world and see things. Along with trade. Xsyon has regional resources also for a reason. This is one of the major reasons I have issues with the dead porting of unlimited weight.

Mounts will be fast travel and I'm working on them. :-)
