Swimming vs Running
Energy used while swimming is much less than running vs distance.

If you are running you use up a lot more energy, and even travel slower than swimming.
They should make it the other way around. Running should require less energy, than swimming.

Sprinting while running and swimming should use up great amounts of energy (like it does) but swimming at sprinting speed should use up a LOT more energy.

I completely agree that running is slower and uses less energy than swimming. I personally would like to see these speeds exactly the same except reversed - a faster run speed on par with the swim speed and a slower swim speed on par with the current run speed. Perhaps a change in swim speed depending on whether you are travelling up or down stream would be cool too.

Up or down stream would be a great idea.

Also you said that running uses less energy, was that a mistype or did you mean that? My tests show that swimming uses much less than running.
