Freaked21, what is happening when you run the patcher?

Only very few people are still having problems with the patcher, and after tracking down the problems they've ended up being related to a few issues:

1) A firewall or port monitoring program blocking the download.
2) An antivirus program blocking the download.
3) Remnants of an old install. If you delete xsyon.exe this might fix the problem.

I'm just sayin' that none of these can be my problem seeing as I have firewall disabled, and I have no anti virus installed atm.

Are you on a wireless connection?
Otherwise I would start running virus scans.

if have MSN, id be more happy to take a quick look see if I see anything out ordinary. more happy give you my 15 years in business exp on trouble shooting stupid problems like this.
