Little bit confused

Im a little bit confused will tehre be NPC's in towns like people to sell to or get quests from or will this be 100% players?

Look at pic 39 of 40 in the screenshot gallery. With undead/muties just standing around: gives me the impression that we might (reaching here) just might be able to tame these NPCs to run our shops when we are AFK, logged out, and what not. Just a theory.

It does make you wonder if there will be mechanisms that allow you to sell stuff while offline. Like via a store or something similar. Hopefully this is the case.
