Tribes are not yet implemented in game, so plenty of time to browse the tribe boards.

well where do I find people at then? I just entered the game and typed "is anybody there?" in general chat but nobody said anything

2 things.

First, updates are coming in a little bit at a time and you won't see much activity since many folks have tested all there is to do, to a point where smashing head against wall may seem more appealing.

Secondly, general chat is limited in distance so even if many folks are in game, if they are not near you they will not see you chat.

I haven't been on much as I recently bought a new game and toying around with that, but I'll be back after the next big thing is added to test some more.
