I can confirm that Mortal Online did indeed do this. I had purchased a few accounts for some guild members and had 1 left at the end and 1 of my own. I got an email informing me that my card had been charged and I was like WTF. so I went and canceled my personal account, but noticed it was on a different email, so I got my login information from MO and canceled the second account. I caught my personal account in time, but got charged for the second. It was $15, I'm not too worried about it enough to dispute it.
