Getting stuck in terraformed trenches

I noticed now it is possible to get stuck in terraformed trenches.

While this is not a problem for those that made the trench it is a problem for anyone else that happens to wander by. Once in a trench you cannot get out unless 1 end of it is slanted to ground level.

There needs to be a way that one can get out of these trenches.

They can use teleport method. 30 minutes to activate would work fine, and one time per 6 hours use. Thats my reasoning...
You can abuse that???

maybe they should add climbing to the game?

Kinda like what Wurm does would be an interesting idea. Have to enable a climb skill that uses up much more energy then even running.

yo, think I've read somewhere that Jooky told something about a pick-axe which makes it possible that you climb. cheers.

Or you just wait for the tribe that owns that area to kill you, loot your corpse and throw your body in the water nearby to get rid of the stink. Hopefully it wont take long for you to float far enough away that respawning wont get you killed again.

What's the lesson here... don't fall in a really big trench!

A /stuck command would probably be handy. And it’s not just man made holes, I have gotten stuck at the base of waterfalls also.

What would you do in real life if you fell into a hole?

Wait until someone could help you out if you could not get out on your own.

So add some rope into game that can be used for this and many other things.

Others uses for rope. Public hangings, lassos for rounding up horses, mountain climbing, and much more....

People have asked about quick travel... add robe to the game... I would build a zip line. Wala, quick travel!

well in the manual it says that

Agility, a measure of your speed, affects combat, speed, jumping, swimming,and climbing

So my guess is they will add a climbing ability..

not sure how they will balance this i dont want people easly scaleing my city walls.
