Unless I'm missing something, the logs still do not stack correctly..
i think he said that will be in the next update
No, this should be fixed. Are they not stacking correctly everywhere, or just in a specific location?
The area that players have reported has invalid world objects that are causing stacking problems. I will need to wipe the database to reset that area.
However, if logs are not stacking correctly at all, in all areas, I need more information as my testers are reporting that this is working fine now.
Thanks!
Ok, so the delay is definately fixed... but the stacking in our zone is not.
Log 1: The 1st log is fine
Log 2: Log 2 lays next to log 1 as it should
Log 3: The next one appears to jump 3 or 4 Mtrs away from logs 1 & 2
Log 4: The next one then lays next to log 3
Log 5: Stacks on log 3 as it should
Log 6: Jumps similar to log 3 but in the opposite direction from log 1
I tried this several times and there are some variations dependong on how close you are to any raised terrain but they wont stack as they should (or always have in the past)
I hope this helps
Further testing:
It appears that this behaviour is occuring because there are other ojects within 5M of the stack. If you stack in a completely object free area the logs stack ok again.
EG: If the is a fire or a different log type within 5M then the stacking does not work
Also, it is no longer possible to lay logs at angles to each other to create a 90 degree right angle
Thanks for the details. We're going to work on this more tonight.
