Xsyon game lock up making windows 7 unresponsive

I'm running Win 7 64
4 gig ram
Nvidia 460 OC
Intel i5

and don't have any of the described problems if that helps anyone. Perhaps its a ram issue. Your 8800GT should be fine as should the Nvidia 260. Maybe with future optimisation of code the 2gig may be enough.

You remembered to count the rams on the graphic card as well, right they are used as well as your physical RAM.

No game consumes more than 1,8gb ram.. I've never seen one and Xsyon doesn't hit 1,8gb ram, not even remotely, not even after several hours of gameplay . (Imo I thought 3gb RAM was the lowest you could use with W7?)
