Local Chat

I want to only have local chat within 50m
and mybe chat bubbles....
tribechat should used as some sort of radiofunk available allover the map.
would you agree ?

global is going away- local is the zones touching yours- and i want it to stay that way. We need a way to trade with our surrounding areas.

I agree that local chat is way too far ranged. And as to the above comment - well you would actually have to go and visit a tribe to trade with them not yell unrealistically at them from miles away.

Tribe chat can be explaned by atuning yourself to the totem and that there are "magical" powers at work in the game without making things to unrealistic.

Local chat though should be just that - local and very limited. I would also like whisper changed to a very limited range local chat like it was in Roma Victor. You would whisper to your mates when all bunched up hiding ready to attack.

Local chat range is much too great for my preference - chat is still fairly spammy because of this. Chat bubbles are nice but I can live without them.
