I am sure there is another post or three floating around in regards to this, I was unable to find them.

The respawn mechanic needs to be tweaked, it is to easily exploitable and fights never end.

I suggest placing a radius around the corpses as in various other Mmo's , you must be inside the radius to resurrect. I understand that this opens the venue for players to grief others .. but such a matter is unavoidable and should be handled by the Guides and GMs when it occurs.

If a radius of respawn is unacceptable then just as evil players are resurrected at their totems ... so should all alignments. I understand this allows for blood porting back to ones bind .. which is exploitable as well.

The system as it is can not stand though, I would take two of the above mentioned lesser evils over the current system of never ending fights and spirit chasing.
