Appologies if this has already been investigated but I made an observation concerning lag just now.

The server was fine, no lag and no notable delay in request/action.

Then lag started to increase. at the height of the increase I noticed snow spots start to appear. lag continued then the snow spots dissapeared and the lag subsided. It may be coincidence but thought it worth mentioning.
