Just drop it from your inventory. If it doesnt drop correctly, pick it up and try again.

On the pictures I saw logs inside the wall...so if I drop it they kind of sink into the wall, or did you build the wall around them ?

You drop the logs and then terraform up over the log and it appears inside the wall.

We only gathered stuff for about an hour... thats what most of the stuff at the entrance is from. Last time I checked it was still there. So I'm guessing it will be there till someone picks it up.
