I'd also suggest uninstalling, using C-Cleaner to fix your registry, and then re-installing.

Before you do that though, tone down the settings a bunch-especially the resolution and terrain distances, and turn off bloom and shadows. Exit and reload. I've had long load times too, from 3-6 minutes. Sometimes more, usually followed by a crash. It shouldn't take more then 5 minutes all the same.
