I run maximum settings windowed 1920x1200 and load in less than 35 seconds every single time...
no idea why RogueBagel is so slow with such similar specs as me (see below);

win7 64-bit
Quad core, q9450 2.66GHz
4 gig of Ram
Galaxy GTX 560 TI 1gb card

My "windows experience ratings are:
7.2 for mem/proc
7.8 for gaming/graphics
5.7 for disc transfer rate

I've also got the fastest internet available in my area- 10mb or something.
What kind of internet connection do you slower loading guys have?

15-20 seconds ?! WTF, my loading time always take from 5 to 10 minutes.

I feel your pain.... on a positive note, its a good time to reflect.

Loading the game should be entirely through your system. (You already downloaded all the files from the patcher) Yeah I run on 2 computers, the crappiest of which (3 fps at best) loads in about a minute on the lowest settings the game can muster. This one takes 2-3 mins but is running on close to the highest settings... the game is a lot more fun on this computer.

Does anyone else have long load times? My client sits at "loading zones" for at least a minute.

Use to be fine up til 2 patches ago for some reason sits at "loading zones" forever and half when before that I use to load in very fast, some members in my tribe said they see it some dont.

My rig and net is out of the question sepcially since I stated it worked fine before, (not even mention how nice my system is) I'm going to say server side on this one.

Im close to yours, and get between 30sec to about 1 1/2 minutes

on a 50/30 (u/d) connection.

so I should have the same loadtimes as you, or better..but not the case.

its ALSO on a 32G SSD (figured id move it to there to see if it helped..nothing)

no, mine installed on a SSD, and im slower than a tribemate on a lot slower machine and a standard IDE drive

Takes me, I would say, up to 5 minutes to log in every time. My husband is the same so i assumed this was normal.

We have a 50MB Internet connection (which actually runs at 52MB - much to the upset of the technician that fit it!)

Yes I have always had huge load times - 1 min on zones is normal.
