Thoughts on new camera collision

I don't mind the time things take ... at all. Be that terraforming, scavenging, moving structures, moving bins, sorting stuff et cetera. That's one of the reasons why I like Xsyon.
When I put up projects and move them around I like to have a full zoomed out general view. But because of the already build structures - be that a wall, post, roof - the camera will clip in instantly and more or less ruin that general view for me.
I know that I should probably finish some things before moving on to another, but that's how I play; making it a challenge to myself.

I'm sure I'll get used to the camera collision sooner or later. But I would still like to see a more softer clip-in and perhaps an added camera mode that doesn't do the collision.
