Learned recipe does not get added to list
Learning a scavenged recipe did not get added to my recipe list
After scavenging a Hunter's Knife recipe, I attempted to learn it. The process completed, the recipe was removed from inventory, and I recieved the message that I had learned a new recipe.

It, however did not show up in any of my crafting lists. Checked every craft with recipe lists and did not find it. Others said they had also experienced the same issue.
This issue is closed. No more replies may be made.

prolly the recipe name and product name problem...

next time remember the total recipes you have before reading new ones

Thats correct, While I do not remember the product name the hunters Knive recipe is giving you a new recipe. the name is just different and causes confusion. its a known little bug.

Problem is I didn't gain any recipe at all. Is the product a weapon? If so, I certainly didn't gain it as I only have one weapon recipe, the ten pound beater. I started bugged with no weapon recipes and found/learned the beater. It wasn't a tool, because the last tool I learned two weeks ago was the scrapper's bucket, and that is currently the last item in the tools crafting list. Definately wasn't a leather or bone armor item, nor basketry or tailoring.

So where is the new item, then?

Hm that is odd, Will change the status , it will be a low on the list thing to check (as its a anoying but not game breaking bug) but thank you for reporting and your feedback on it.

I can confirm this. I also had a knife recipe (not sure if it was Hunter's Knife) and after learning it I received no new weapon in the crafting list. This is definitely not the naming bug that we see with many other weapon and tool recipes.
